Gianna P. Alden
Executive Functioning & Academic Support Coach
Gianna is a dedicated coach specializing in executive functioning, academic support, and social-emotional development. She holds a Master’s in Early Childhood and Special Education from Wheelock College and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire. She has also completed an advanced certificate in Coaching Children and Teens and received executive function training from the Landmark School and Peg Dawson, EdD, co-author of Smart But Scattered.
With experience as a first-grade teacher, special educator, and preschool teacher at Rye Country Day School, Gianna has worked extensively with students of all ages. She later served as a psychometrist at Portsmouth Neuropsychology Center, where she administered cognitive and academic assessments and provided executive function and academic coaching. Through this work, she developed individualized intervention plans to help clients improve organization, planning, time management, emotional regulation, and study strategies.
Gianna’s coaching empowers individuals to strengthen executive function skills such as organization, time management, goal-setting, and emotional regulation. She offers personalized strategies to help clients improve study habits, manage projects, and develop lifelong skills for academic and personal success.
She works privately with students and collaborates with schools to ensure a comprehensive support system tailored to each individual's needs.
